Who will you employ?
An evening for employers on the workforce challenge ahead
Employers across Aruba are searching for qualified people, while many young Arubans are searching for work. We invite you to spend an evening with us looking at why the two are not finding each other, what this means for your organisation, and what employers can do about it.

Why this matters for you
As an employer, you may already see this in your own organisation, in vacancies that stay open longer, in candidates who do not bring what the job requires, and in experienced colleagues who are approaching retirement. This decade Aruba must fill roughly 12,000 jobs, while around 6,300 workers become eligible for retirement within five years, and the generation that is meant to replace them is the smallest the island has ever produced. Recruitment alone cannot close this gap. We believe employers are an essential part of the solution, and this evening focuses on what it means for you and on what employers can do about it.
Who this session is for
This session is intended for HR and people managers, small business owners, and everyone who is in charge of recruitment, training and people in their organisation. Because seats are limited, they are reserved for those who carry this responsibility. When you register, we ask for your organisation, your position and your role in recruitment and training, and we may contact you before confirming your seat.
By the end of the evening, you will
- Understand what the workforce data tells us about Aruba’s labour market
- Identify what these trends mean for your own organisation
- Explore why young talent and employers are not finding each other
- Identify practical ways to build a stronger talent pipeline
- Leave with practical next steps for your organisation
